The Harleston Sancroft Academy opened in September 2022 as an All Through School serving the community of an incredibly vibrant market town on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.
The school currently operates on 2 sites that are less than a mile from each other in the Town of Harleston.
The Primary Phase, previously known as Harleston Primary Academy has approx 430 children from Nursery through to the end of KS2 (age 3-11). For more information relating to the Primary Phase, please click below
The Secondary Phase, previously known as Archbishop Sancroft High School (ASHS) has approx 500 children spanning across Years 7-11 (age 11-16). For more information relating to the Secondary Phase, please click below
In 2018, HPA and ASHS joined St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust and in 2019 the two schools Federated, with one Governing Body working across both phases. In 2021, Mr Rob Connelly was appointed as Executive Headteacher of The Harleston Federation and is now the Headteacher of The Harleston Sancroft Academy. The opening of the All Through School has been carefully planned, with significant involvement of St Benet’s MAT, The Diocese of Norwich and the local community. We are more than just a school and through enabling and encouraging all staff, children and their families to explore, witness and experience the Christian values that are the cornerstone of all that we do, we are proud to be the Heartbeat of Harleston.
