Admissions to the School

Admission of children in Reception (for nursery admissions, please visit the link via the Primary Phase website).

Children may start school during the year in which they become five. All children will be offered a full time place from September. Parents may defer their admission providing the child is in full time education by the term after their fifth birthday and by the beginning of the summer term at the latest.

Admission of students at the beginning of Year 7

Parents of pupils in Year 6 (at September 2023) who wish to apply for a High School place for September 2024 at The Harleston Sancroft Academy are advised that they should apply via their Local Authority (please note, this does not apply to children who are currently attending The Harleston Sancroft Academy Primary Phase who automatically have a place in Year 7). Where applicable, families may also complete the supplementary form (Appendix 2 of the admissions policy) and return this to the school office.
